The guest house features a beautiful garden and a swimming pool, providing a serene and relaxing atmosphere for guests to unwind and enjoy their vacation. A continental breakfast is included, which provides a great way to start the day before exploring all that the area has to offer.

In addition, local dinner is served from Monday to Friday at an additional cost of Rs 750 per person, allowing guests to experience authentic Mauritian cuisine.

Guests can also interact with the friendly cats and chickens on the property, which adds to the homey and welcoming atmosphere of the guest house.

Fantastic. Wish we could have stayed longer. We stayed 3 nights at Shanti Ghar. We felt at home from the moment we were greeted at the gate by Zak. Comfortable, friendly and lots of tips from Zak and Tom that made us feel like locals. The honesty system for the bar a great idea. The continental breakfast was all you needed to get going. They offer dinner a couple of nights a week, home cooked and delicious. There’s a supermarket down the road which is handy. An ideal home base to explore the SW of beautiful Mauritius.

The hosts have been generous with advice and experience support, while also kind and active involved in making us comfortable at all times. They proactively provided catering for our nutritional requirements and we really appreciated the dinner together with a lively community experience, very tasty and inclusive. In general the guesthouse offered a good welcoming environment, the rooms especially were spotless clean. We loved all the pets! All the cats and dogs are super well behaved and quiet and we enjoyed their cuddles.

We loved this Place. Wonderful guest house, so relaxing and hospitable. We spent a great time there. Zac and Tom, that manage the house, are 2 kind and smart guys, you can ask them for suggestions about what to do or help to book any activity you want. 3 days per week they organize a dinner with all the guests. It's a very cool situation where you can speak and interacts with people from other countries about your experience in Mauritius. A lovely place with lovely people.

Look no further! Amazing place, from room to the garden and common area, this was 100% my type of accommodation for vacation. Very chilled vibe, all guys who are working there are simply amazing and always smiling 🙂 extra comfy bed. Ask for the room with a swing 😎
